VMix is a mixing automation software package, designed to work with common MIDI hardware. It can store up to 256 channels of dynamic controller changes and mute switch settings.
Features
- Displays and edits all Fader levels in dB, not meaningless MIDI controller values.
- 16 Fader Groups AND 16 Mute Groups. The Fader Groups are truly "Proportional" meaning that the Mix between the Group Member Tracks is accurately Maintained over the entire travel of the Master Fader.
- Offers many automation features usually reserved for expensive automation "packages" built into large studio consoles. These features are not available when using a music sequencer program to control Automation Hardware.
- Designed by a Recording Engineer and Studio Owner. The product has been continually enhanced while being used in actual sessions in a busy studio.
- MIDI Machine Control (MMC) to control the transports of tape decks, Hard Disk Recorders, etc.
- "Smart Knob" multi-function rotary knob allows automation of advanced features of Digital Consoles.
